We all know of achievements for video games but now the XBOX One might have achievements for watching TV shows and movies. Microsoft applied for a patent that detailed a feature for viewers to receive achievement points and rewards.
The patent is called “Awards and Achievements Across TV Ecosystem” and it will be used to track your viewing habits. The award system has not been revealed but if the patent is issued, we will be seeing a lot about this feature. Stay tuned for updates.
So they are using this as more of a way to view our Tv watching habits seems a bit of a privacy issue don't you think?
