Kinect 2.0 to Work With XBOX One and Windows Machines

After the announcement of the XBOX One, there were many questions about the Kinect sensor. Here's what we know about the Kinect 2.0 controller so far.

The XBOX One Kinect 2.0 controller will feature a high-definition (HD) color 1080p camera as well as a new noise-isolating multi-microphone that can filter ambient sounds and only pick up voice commands. Microsoft's Kinect 2.0 will also be equipped with Microsoft's Time-of-Flight technology which measures the time it takes individual photons to rebound off an object or person to create unprecedented accuracy and precision. With the TOF technology, there has been reports that the new Kinect 2.0 will have the ability to measure someone's heartbeat which is pretty impressive.

Another feature of Kinect 2.0 is it will be compatible with Windows machines. When it is released, you will be able to connect the motion controller to your PC and all the features will be available to work with your Window's software.
