XBOX One Get Enhanced Bing Features
Microsoft recently announced that their search engine Bing will be enhanced for XBOX One. Back in 2011, Bing was fitted with a voice recognition feature that allows users to search with voice commands. Now, Microsoft revealed that the voice search will have 100 percent accuracy.
Powered by Tellme voice technology, Bing is capable of understanding natural-language-query commands. Along with the social-graph info, the search engine can respond as if it were human. The news that Bing will power XBOX One's voice features in no surprise since Bing already powers Microsoft Phone functions. A lot of indexing has already taken place and Microsoft is already working with video streaming partners such as Netflix and HBO for enhanced searches of movies and TV shows.
Currently, voice search is not a priority for PC's but there are rumors that Windows 8.1 will bring a change to feature more voice commands and functions. The integration of voice commands to console and PC is inevitable. How it's done will prove it's useability for the long run.
